Holiday Schedule
Champion observes only five holidays per year — fewer than most haulers — so you get more reliable service. Here's how each one affects your collection week.

Memorial Day Last Monday in May | Last Monday in May | Monday and Thursday routes shift forward one day. Tuesday/Friday and Wednesday routes run on their normal schedule. |
Independence Day July 4 | July 4 | Service delayed by one day for the rest of the week if pickup falls on or after the holiday. |
Thanksgiving Day Fourth Thursday in November | Fourth Thursday in November | Thursday and Friday routes shift forward one day. Earlier-in-the-week routes run on their normal schedule. |
Christmas Day December 25 | December 25 | Service delayed by one day for the rest of the week if pickup falls on or after the holiday. |
The general rule
On any of the five observed holidays, your pickup is delayed by one day for the rest of that week. If your normal day is before the holiday, your service runs as scheduled. Saturday is the make-up day for weeks with a Friday delay.
